Canada is in a housing crisis. America’s trade war against Canada makes the situation more acute and urgent, creating new economic turmoil that could push more of us out of jobs and homes and towards inadequate housing and homelessness. 

We know that Canada is at a crossroads, and we have a choice: we can let this moment deepen our housing crisis, or we can use it to make things better – to protect Canadians and our housing system.  

In the face of these new threats, the Housing Canada Coalition has come together to put forward a plan that ensures that every Canadian has a safe, decent, and affordable home.
